The anthem Lift Every Voice and Sing charges us to “march on until victory is won.” It has been a year since the world was rocked by the murder of George Floyd and the resulting aftermath sparked conversations on racial justice, inclusion, and belonging. Yet the list of unarmed Black Americans killed by the police continues to grow and disparities in health and economics devastate Black communities. The march continues with more questions than answers. What has changed and what still needs to change? Where and what is our hope? In honor of Juneteenth, join NAAIA Boston Chapter and Marsh for this conversation on the actions needed for victory to be won.
This program features Nzinga “Zing” Shaw (she/her/ally), Global Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer, Marsh & McLennan Companies and Katrina Shaw, CEO of the Freedom House Boston, and will be moderated by Omari Jahi Aarons, Founder and Managing Partner of the Aarons Group LLC and Inaugural President, NAAIA Boston.
